Supporting the path to Truth and Reconciliation

This week we hosted a unique opportunity at the Parish. Rose-Alma MacDonald a friend from St Regis reached out to ask if our Church could be used for a photoshoot related to an interview she had with the Globe and Mail.

Act of Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

On March 25th, 2022 – At this hour, a weary and distraught humanity stands beneath the cross, needing to entrust itself to you and through you, to consecrate itself to Christ. @HolySeePress

We need to come together as a people, as a Church, and pray for our own conversion and the conversion of Russia and the world.

Here is the display of a beautiful painting of Mary and the infant Jesus at the foot of the cross in our Parish.

Lenten Food Drive

We are in the third week of our Lenten Food Drive and donations are piling up. We reached out to the local agencies that work hard to help the people in our community with food insecurity to have a sense of what they need to refill their supplies.

Here are the items: cereal, school snacks, cheese & macaroni, peanut butter, canned vegetables, beans and meat.

It is wonderful how all the St. Vincent de Paul, Agape Centre and Centre 105 work together to meet the needs of the people in the community.
